Sanlam Investments East Africa Limited (“Sanlam”, “We” or “Us”) is a Licensed Financial Services Provider as licensed by Capital Markets Authority and Registered by Retirement Benefits Authority These are the terms on which we provide you with information on and access to financial products through our website www.sanlam.com and any other websites operated by Sanlam (the Service).
Please read these Terms carefully before you submit any inquiry, request or information to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide the Service to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. Information sharing and collection
We collect various information in connection with the Services, including;

c) Processed as potential customers move through lead qualification and sales contracts
d) Stored in sales databases, either on premise or in a third-party cloud
Acceptance of terms
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms then you may not access the Service.
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitations if you breach the Terms.
Registration and use of services
Our acceptance of your inquiry or request will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. Our email to you will provide confirmation on whether or not your continued access to the Service requires you to provide your identity documents at any of our physical locations, whether you will be required to sign a separate contract with us, and any payments required from you.
If we are unable to accept your request, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the service. This might be because the financial product is unavailable; or because your request does not meet our minimum requirements; or we have identified an error in the price or description of the financial product; or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
We will assign a reference number to your request and communicate it to you when we accept your request. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your request.
We will respond to all requests inquiries or requests within 36 hours. Should you require any financial service within less than four working days, we recommend that you visit any of our physical locations for assistance.
If you wish to make a change to the service you have requested please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible we will let you know about any changes to the price of the service or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change. If we cannot make the change or the consequences of making the change are unacceptable to you, you may want to end the contract.
We may need certain additional information from you so that we can supply the financial products to you. If so, this will have been stated in the description of the products on our website. We will contact you in writing to ask for this information. We will not be responsible for providing the financial products late or not supplying any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time of us asking for it. We may make changes to the description of any and all financial products on our website at any time and without notice.
To end any contract for financial products with us, please let us know by doing one of the following:

Third party services
Sanlam shall not be responsible for and disclaims all liability for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company), as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to your access and use of the website, any information contained on the website, your personal information or material and information transmitted over our system. In particular, neither Sanlam nor any third party or data or content provider shall be liable in any way to you or to any other person, firm or corporation whatsoever for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever arising from any delays, inaccuracies, errors in, or omission of any share price information or the transmission thereof, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon or occasioned thereby or by reason of non-performance or interruption, or termination thereof.
Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of Kenya, regardless of the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law. The parties agree that the Kenyan courts located in Nairobi Kenya, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all controversies arising under this agreement and agree that venue is proper in those courts.
Trademarks The trademarks, names, logos and service marks (collectively “trademarks”) displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks of Sanlam Investments East Africa Limited. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of Sanlam.
We will treat all the information submitted via the website as private and confidential.
We keep all your information in accordance with applicable law for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.

We will ONLY collect information such as your name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, bank details, KRA PIN and any other personal information as necessary or required by law.
